From March 17th to 19th, 2023, the esplanade of the Instituto Vallartense de Cultura will host the sixth edition of the DamaJuana Festival de la Raicilla, which on this occasion brings together 15 producers from Cabo Corrientes, Mascota, Mixtlán and Puerto Vallarta.

Some of the taverns participating are El Divisadero, La Fortuna, El Tío Luis, El Embrujo, Hermanos Harrison, Real Roque, La Jorobada, Los Tres Hombres and Los Topetes, among others.

During the DamaJuana Festival de la Raicilla there will be raicilla tastings at the various stands that will be set up, as well as the participation of a craft brewery and food stalls, as well as traditional mariachi music, singers and versatile bands. Admission will be free.

The traditional and artisan elaboration of the raicilla are elements that make it belong to the Jalisco’s cultural patrimony.

Granted by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) in 2019, the General Declaration of Protection of the Raicilla Denomination of Origin includes the producing regions of the municipalities of Atengo, Atenguillo, Ayutla, Cabo Corrientes, Chiquilistlán, Cuautla, Guachinango, Huichitlán, Mascota, Mixtlán, Puerto Vallarta, San Sebastián del Oeste, Talpa de Allende, Tecolotlán, Tenamaxtlán and Tomatlán; as well as Bahía de Banderas in the state of Nayarit.

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship.”

“Advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles is an easy and direct way to reach all of the visitors and new residents that arrive to the destination. Of the 30 years that the magazine has been in circulation, we have been advertising for 23 years and without any doubt, it has been worthy for the big positioning that we have achieved. Besides, the quality of contents its unique in this area.”
