Incanto, the newest performance venue in Puerto Vallarta’s Zona Romántica, will begin its premier show season this coming Friday, January 20, at 7:00pm, featuring New York City cabaret legend Michael McAssey.

According to owner Tracy Parks, Incanto takes its name from the charming and elegant setting along the Rio Cuale that divides Olas Altas and El Centro neighborhoods and surrounds the venue. Incanto will feature an eclectic offering of world-class entertainment in both a lower lever cabaret theater and a piano bar setting on the second floor.

Michael McAssey’s show will take place in the piano bar and is expected to be a huge success. Michael has been a popular member of the New York and Chicago Piano Bar & Cabaret communities for more than 30 years. He is a NYC MAC Awards winner for Outstanding Male Singer and also holds a Bistro Award.

McAssey will be performing at Incanto every week through March from Tuesday to Saturday. In addition, local favorite and gifted pianist, Jean-Guy Comeau (Jay-Gee), will begin playing in the Piano Bar for happy hour, starting Saturday, January 21 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.

The opening of the cabaret theater space follows on January 27 at 7:00pm with the premier of Luna Rumba Production’s new show called Duende—a mix of Latin, rumba and flamenco music.

Upcoming shows also include singer and songwriter Stolie, Latcho & Lea: the Blond Gypsies, singer and songwriter Spencer Day, American Idol finalist David Hernandez and cabaret diva Miss Hope Springs.

For more information about Incanto and tickets for all upcoming shows, please visit www.IncantoVallarta.com or follow its Facebook Page. The venue is located at 109 Insurgentes in colonia Emiliano Zapata. Box office opens at 10:00am and reservations can be made by calling (322) 223-9756.

“We have been clients of Vallarta Lifestyles since 1999, the year in which we arrived to this destination. Back then, it was the only publication where you could really do local marketing. These days, in spite of the arrival of new technologies, we keep advertising, because it is a really important complement for our marketing strategy.”

“We have been advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles since the opening of our restaurant, and since then, we have kept a strong relationship. Due to its scope and distribution, the campaigns that we advertised regarding our different culinary projects have always been a success. This magazine has been consolidated as a benchmark that promotes the beauty of our destination in a creative and effective way.”

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship.”
