The Velas Vallarta resort in Marina Vallarta was the venue for “Nearshoring & Super Peso”, an informative event that was organized and presented by Actinver, a Mexican company dedicated to investment management.

During this panel, Enrique Covarrubias, chief economist and analysis director at Actinver, gave an interesting talk on the current economic situation, as well as the reasons why the Mexican peso is rising against the US dollar (including nearshoring, remittances and inflation, among others).

This is an externalization strategy in which a company transfers a business operation to third parties, who, although located in other countries, are in nearby destinations.

After that, Armando Ríos Píter, politics specialist, continued with a presentation in which he reviewed the impact of the news on society and explained the current political context of our country, as well as the movements and candidates that will be playing an important role during the following months.

“These events are promoted by Actinver with the aim to keep our customers and guests informed about the national and international events that are of particular interest. In this way, they can make better decisions when investing,” commented Godofredo Vidal Gutiérrez, director of Actinver Puerto Vallarta.

At the end of both presentations, there was a space for questions and answers, where attendees had the opportunity to interact with the speakers.

“We have been clients of Vallarta Lifestyles since 1999, the year in which we arrived to this destination. Back then, it was the only publication where you could really do local marketing. These days, in spite of the arrival of new technologies, we keep advertising, because it is a really important complement for our marketing strategy.”

“Since its beginnings and until today, the quality in photography and editorial design of Vallarta Lifestyles is unrivaled, because there’s nothing similar in this region of Mexico. Besides, to the foreign community that visit us, this magazine is essential if they want to know what’s new and what’s going on in our destination.”
