American Airlines Launches New Los Angeles – Puerto Vallarta Flight

American Airlines announced a new daily, direct flight from the Los Angeles International Airport to Puerto Vallarta’s Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport, starting on December 15, 2016. The connection will increase the traffic between our destination and what is considered as the United State’s primary source of origin for tourists interested in it.

“The increase in flights to Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta is excellent news,” said Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We know about several other flights that are in the process of being confirmed, and we really hope to be announcing those as well sometime soon.”

So far this year, announcements have been made for new direct flights from Chicago on Frontier Airlines, from Los Angeles on Southwest Airlines and a charter flight from Poland with Rainbow Tours tour operator, using LOT Polish Airlines planes. Last year the destination confirmed four new flights.

The new Los Angeles – Puerto Vallarta flight is subject to government approval but it’s already open to reservations. Click here to check the availability of flights.
