Gradually, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit continues to attract more visitors arriving by plane. The most recent figures from GAP (Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, in Spanish) report that during the months of June and July 2020, more than 135,000 travelers, both national and international, arrived at the Puerto Vallarta’s International Airport.

Statistics show that 84,600 domestic passengers were received during June a July and 50,400 international passengers arrived in the destination during the the same two-month period.

In the sum of travelers from January to July 2020, the figure indicates that 1,612,300 passengers, both national and international, arrived at this destination.

Since its lowest drop in April and May, something to note is that the occupancy in flights has been increasing and it is already at 80 percent in July of this year.

Domestic airlines report an increase in the demand for flights during the summer period so far, from important markets such as Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, León, Aguascalientes and Tijuana; as well as American cities such as San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San José, Phoenix, Dallas and Houston.

“Advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles has been one of the best decisions we have made for the benefit of our business, because it has always helped us reach our prospects accurately. The magazine’s distribution throughout the destination is unique and strategic, as it reaches readers who are the type of clients we are looking for.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles is very helpful for someone who arrives for the first time to the destination, because through its content one can discover really nice places to visit. Besides, it is a guide for us as residents, because we know from a good source the new things we can do. People take the magazine and in one place they find hotels, restaurants, galleries, real estate and other featured services.”
