The new Arte Vallarta coffee table book will be presented to the student community at the Guadalajara University local campus (CUC) and the general public this coming Thursday, March 10, at 6 pm, at the University’s Peter Grey Museum. Penned by local writer Rubén Cham, the book is a visual account of the development of Puerto Vallarta as a visual arts destination since the 1950s, as seen through the private art collection owned by local patrons Gail and Frank Rudin. The one of a kind tome features works by important local artists, such as Ramón Barragán, Javier Niño, Ada Colorina, Manuel Lepe, Edgar Martínez, and other local creators. With full-page photographs and biographical information on the aforementioned artists, this is the most complete account of the history of visual arts in Puerto Vallarta available today.

“Among other things, Vallarta Lifestyles stands out for its strong presence throughout our destination, from five stars hotels to brand new condominiums, where they finally find the type of clients that we look for. For all of us is very important to be in print media to strengthen our advertising strategy and this magazine is essential to achieve it.”

“There are lots of reasons why we have advertised in Vallarta Lifestyles for several years. One of them is that they know pretty well their target, because they know who are their readers and they adapt as much as possible the content and material that is offered. For these reasons they have a growing number of readers which is very important for us. Another reason is that many people  —including us— think that the magazine has been as a serious publication since its beginnings. Historically, Vallarta Lifestyles has known how to capture the audience and has done it pretty well."

“Vallarta Lifestyles has helped us a lot to position our business, the fact that people see us in the magazine has contributed their coming back to Faith Colectiva. Actually, we have measured the reach of our advertising by offering a free gift and it is unbelievable to see them coming with the issue.”
