In a destination such as Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, with hundreds of excellent restaurants, even the best chefs in the region deserve a break. But where do they go? There is a warm camaraderie among many chefs in our destination, such that they frequently visit one another’s restaurants to sample the latest culinary creations. But just as in any other profession, it is also healthy to spend some time away from work-related affairs for a change of pace, so you shouldn’t be surprised if a chef pursues his or her favorite dishes on their time away from work, for the sheer pleasure of enjoying them.
