Cloudbreak: The Superyacht for Adventurers Visits Puerto Vallarta
In recent weeks, the Puerto Vallarta Harbor seems to be an open-to-the-public showroom that lets us admire luxury super yachts and impressive cruise ships…and we are really thrilled about it!
The latest visitor in Puerto Vallarta is the luxury superyacht Cloudbreak, an exceptional 72.5-meter explorer yacht. It was built in 2016 by Germany-based yacht builders Abeking & Rasmussen and designed by the luxury yacht architect Espen Øino with a military style. The subtle but high-end interiors were designed by Parisian interior designer Christian Liaigre.
Considered a high volume yacht comprising over 2,200 gt., it has a beam of 12.4 meters and a draft of 3.45 meters. According to Boat International, the vessel is a “high-tech floating chalet with a superyacht helideck (certified for commercial use) for its custom Bell 429 Global Ranger, a ski room, a fireplace and the largest toy chest ever built”. The yacht amenities also include an extensive fitness and spa area and a modern sound and light system. As for accommodation, there are 7 cabins with room up to 12 guests and a crew of 22.
Cloudbreak is named after the famed wave in the Pacific island of Fiji, one of the favorite surf spots among surfers, that perfectly describes the modern and adventurous spirit of the yacht, her owners, guests and charter clients. In fact, according to Øino, “Cloudbreak is for an outdoorsman and a lover of nature”. The luxury superyacht is offered for charter through SuperYachts Monaco for €750,000 per week.
