Yesterday, Sunday, December 16, the Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport gave a warm welcome to the Panamanian airline Copa Airlines.
Landing at 12:48 PM, the plane was greeted with a very Mexican opening ceremony: a water salut, mariachi and tequila.

The airline inaugurated its first flight, a direct route from Panama to Puerto Vallarta (its fifth destination in Mexico) over a Boeing 737-700 aircraft with a capacity for up to 12 passengers in business class and 112 in tourist. Copa Airlines will operate flights on Thursdays and Sundays.

Copa Airlines not only has the mission of connecting various destinations through Panama as a point of connection with the Americas, it also seeks to promote cultural exchange, support tourism and commercial expansion of Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit, as it is the 80th destination of the airline in the continent.

Highlighting its continuous progress and the quality of the service they provide, Copa Airlines is part of the global Star Alliance airline network and for five consecutive years it has been recognized as the most punctual airline in Latin America by the Official Airline Guide (OAG), as well as the fourth most punctual in the world.

“Advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles has been one of the best decisions we have made for the benefit of our business, because it has always helped us reach our prospects accurately. The magazine’s distribution throughout the destination is unique and strategic, as it reaches readers who are the type of clients we are looking for.”

“We started to advertise 7 or 8 years ago and certainly it has helped us position our brand. Now that we have improved a lot in quality, processes and finished products, our marketing in the magazine is precisely to strengthen the leadership we have earned through the 13 years in the area. I also think that we also have grown with the advertisement and that it has been done and it has helped us get to where we are now.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”
