Puerto Vallarta will celebrate a Reggae Festival on Friday, March 25, featuring Ky Mani Marely, of the Marley “dynasty.” The event will take place at the Flamingos esplanade (behind Mega Comercial Mexicana), and will feature several renowned international artists.

“The festival will allow locals and visitors to enjoy a one-of-a-kind concert,” said organizer Kassiano, who is well known in the region as an outstanding performer of the genre. “And it is the first time a ‘Marley’ will be among us.

The timing of the concert coincides with Semana Santa, Mexico’s Spring Break equivalent, allowing thousands of visitors to enjoy the event. Representatives of Ky Many Marley stated that the artist is very excited about his first performance in this part of Mexico.

The event will begin at 4 pm with a DJ that will set the mood with reggae classics. Other performers that will follow include Kassiano, Konfrontation Band, La Yaga, and Maurice Englishman and the Profile Band.

“We have been clients of Vallarta Lifestyles since 1999, the year in which we arrived to this destination. Back then, it was the only publication where you could really do local marketing. These days, in spite of the arrival of new technologies, we keep advertising, because it is a really important complement for our marketing strategy.”

"Vallarta Lifestyles is very similar to The Agency, we have a similar client base, [residents and tourists] who seek for information about the topics that are featured in each issue; lifestyle, restaurants, and architecture, among others. And, because the way your magazines are located, we can really capture the clients we want."

“Vallarta Lifestyles is very helpful for someone who arrives for the first time to the destination, because through its content one can discover really nice places to visit. Besides, it is a guide for us as residents, because we know from a good source the new things we can do. People take the magazine and in one place they find hotels, restaurants, galleries, real estate and other featured services.”
