Galeria Contempo reopens for the season this coming Monday, October 3, and will be introducing the work of Xolotl Polo, from Cuernavaca, Morelos.

The artist began painting at an early age, inspired by his parents, both artists. His first solo exhibition took place at the Regional Institute of Fine Arts in Morelos in 1988. Since then, Polo has had over thirty exhibitions throughout Mexico and abroad. He has also participated in numerous collective exhibitions and his paintings can be found in private and public collections in five contents, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Mexico City, the Pinacoteca del Centro de las Artes in Mexico City, the Museo Historico Naval in Veracruz, and the Museo Javier de la Rosa in Spain.

“We started to advertise in Vallarta Lifestyles because since its beginnings and to date it keeps using modern technological equipment to produce it and it is possible to notice that in the quality of the magazine, which offers interesting topics about the life of our destination through its articles and interviews to well known personalities. Actually, I keep a collection in my personal library.”
