Jalisco is Recognized with the Safe Travels Stamp
The state of Jalisco, achieved the Safe Travels Stamp, granted by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) recognizing the proper implementation of new health and hygiene protocols recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) , as well as the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Endorsed by the World Tourism Organization and more than 200 travel companies, the objective of this badge is to provide confidence to travelers that the destinations they visit are safe.
In this regard, the president and CEO of WTTC, Gloria Guevara Manzo, expressed the satisfaction of granting this recognition to Jalisco, a place that houses two great ambassadors of Mexican culture at international level: tequila and mariachi. In addition, she mentioned that this state offers great gastronomic diversity, as well as world renowned beaches.
For this reason, the economic activities in different municipalities have been gradually reactivated. This is the case of Puerto Vallarta, where hotels, beaches and shopping malls have recently reopened, abiding by the sanitary measures that local authorities have established.
