Riviera Nayarit among the First Mexican Destinations to Receive the Safe Travels Stamp

Currently, Riviera Nayarit is among the first destinations that have received the Safe TravelsStamp, granted by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) recognizing the proper implementation of the new sanitary protocols that guarantee the protection and safety of its visitors.

Endorsed by the World Tourism Organization and more than 200 travel companies, the objective of this badge is to provide travelers with confidence about destinations that meet the high standards of quality and hygiene recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) , as well as the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

This is the list of Mexican destinations with the Safe Travels Stamp:
· Baja California Sur
· Mexican Caribbean (Cancun, Riviera Maya and Grupo Xcaret)
· Riviera Nayarit
· Yucatan

In addition, the government of Nayarit announced the gradual reopening of all hotels and motels on June 15th 20202, and initially they will operate at 30% of their capacity.
