Those staying at the exclusive Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita certainly enjoy a unique stay at this privileged location in Riviera Nayarit, which combines amazing natural surroundings with casual luxury. And now an internationally renowned retailer enhances the shopping experience in the boutiques there.

Maris Collective, a firm created by LeeAnn Sauter about 10 years ago, provides exclusive items to five-star hotels around the world. Sauter, an expert in the retail industry who has worked for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Gap, has revolutionized and revitalized the concept of hotel gift shops, combining elements of both the resort’s ambiance and local culture.

Her idea was conceived while vacationing at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, in Hawaii. She noted that although the world’s most exclusive hotels had evolved regarding architecture, interfacing with the natural environment and amenities, their in-house shops looked outdated and uninspired. Believing that guests would be attracted to a more sophisticated and specialized experience, she founded Seaside Luxe (now Maris Collective), a venture that launched concept boutiques in luxury resorts and hotels. Sauter supplied each establishment with renowned brands such as Emilio Pucci, Lanvin and Missoni, as well as authentic and unique items produced by local artisans.

Today, Maris Collective has nearly 30 luxury stores in more than a dozen high-end resorts around the world, including the recently opened Four Seasons Resort Bahrain, in the Middle East.

At the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, Maris Collective is present in the Bulvera, Paloma and Hecho Punta Mita boutiques, where selective shoppers can find refined items from all over the world, including high fashion beachwear and luxury brands that are as well known to jet-setters as to surfing enthusiasts.

LeeAnn Sauter and her team have summed up the concept of Maris Collective with the phrase “No Ordinary Moment,” which reflects the exclusivity of their products and invites you to embrace their style while enjoying your privileged stay on the coast.

Just as our “Best of Vallarta” section highlights the international brands that have arrived in our destination, we also celebrate the presence of this exclusive line of products that perfectly complement Punta Mita’s chic and glamorous ambiance.

“We started advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles because we really liked the quality. Actually, it is still the best magazine of Puerto Vallarta, because of its spectacular articles and photos. Thanks to its distribution points at famous hotels, it is the ideal publication to reach the clients we are looking for.”

“Advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles has been one of the best decisions we have made for the benefit of our business, because it has always helped us reach our prospects accurately. The magazine’s distribution throughout the destination is unique and strategic, as it reaches readers who are the type of clients we are looking for.”

General manager

“We started to advertise 7 or 8 years ago and certainly it has helped us position our brand. Now that we have improved a lot in quality, processes and finished products, our marketing in the magazine is precisely to strengthen the leadership we have earned through the 13 years in the area. I also think that we also have grown with the advertisement and that it has been done and it has helped us get to where we are now.”
