Galería Contempo has announced the arrival of a new series of portraits by renowned Mexican artist, Abelardo Favela, who spent this past summer painting at his Cuernavaca, Morelos home.

The artist is known for his trademark scenes of joy, plain and simple, lightearted and free, full of charm and self-confidence. A shift from previous series is the shift to paintings that are smaller in size than what he usually has painted before.
