OPC (Cultural Projects Office) will celebrate its 3rd anniversary on May 27th, having become one of the leading cultural institutions in Puerto Vallarta.

Since the opening in 2014, OPC has presented 12 successful exhibitions, hosted numerous lectures, offered educational workshops for children and participated in many events in Puerto Vallarta. This year, they opened their garden to the public for music and literary events.

Thanks to the opportunity given by the Barlow family, the OPC will expand into the adjacent building which will allow them to offer more cultural and educational services to the public. The space will be transformed into Taller OPC: Books+Talk+Art, a multi-functional workshop, an art and architecture reading room, a place for lectures and student exhibitions. Youth summer workshops will be offered too for Vallarta’s local teens.

In order to renovate the new space with drywall, new electrical, paint, air conditioning and furniture, the OPC needs to raise $2,000 USD. This will help this cultural institution in Puerto Vallarta to strengthen the civic and cultural bonds in the community.

If you want to help build the new workshop, please visit this crowdfunding site and donate to their fundraiser. Visit OPC in Calle Juárez 598, Colonia Centro in Puerto Vallarta. For more information visit oficinacultural.org.

“Vallarta Lifestyles is really well positioned. We are aware of that because we have seen people who arrive to our jewelry with the issue or the advertising in hand asking about the product that is featured there. This dynamic is really interesting for us and makes us glad.”

“We have been advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles since the opening of our restaurant, and since then, we have kept a strong relationship. Due to its scope and distribution, the campaigns that we advertised regarding our different culinary projects have always been a success. This magazine has been consolidated as a benchmark that promotes the beauty of our destination in a creative and effective way.”

“We started to advertise in Vallarta Lifestyles because since its beginnings and to date it keeps using modern technological equipment to produce it and it is possible to notice that in the quality of the magazine, which offers interesting topics about the life of our destination through its articles and interviews to well known personalities. Actually, I keep a collection in my personal library.”
