Pompis Fest 2023: Surf and Fun in San Blas

The iconic El Borrego Beach, located in the heroic port of San Blas, Riviera Nayarit, is getting ready to welcome surfing enthusiasts to the much-anticipated Pompis Fest 2023. From October 26th to 28th, the waves of this paradise will witness the skills of surfers competing in exciting categories such as open shortboard, open longboard, and youth.

As well as action on the water, this event promises entertainment off the water. Attendees can enjoy live music concerts, captivating art exhibitions, a “bocho” car show that will delight classic car enthusiasts and parties that promise to keep the energy high throughout the weekend.

Pompis Fest 2023 is not just a surfing competition, but a tribute to legendary local surfer José Manuel “Pompis” Cano. With an impressive track record that includes multiple national championships in various categories, national team and participation in world championships, as well as a longboard world championship, Pompis is a true inspiration to the surfing community.
