Vallarta Lifestyles Media Group has officially begun preparations for its annual gastronomic festival Restaurant Week, which will be celebrating its 15th anniversary this year from May 15 – June 10. For this reason, organizers encourage restaurants located in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit to participate in what promises to be the most exciting venture since the foundation of the event.

Luis Mendoza, Vallarta Lifestyles Media Group operations manager, stated: “We are very proud of the evolution of Restaurant Week over these 15 years. We would like to thank the restaurants that have joined us in this journey for all their support, as well as the foodies who bring life to the event year after year. This edition will mark a big celebration and we will be happy to share it with all of you.”

Restaurants’ registration is already open and will run through March 10. For more information about requirements and registration guidelines, call (322) 221-0051 or email .

Over the years, Restaurant Week participants have taken advantage of the event as a showcase to introduce themselves to a new public, include new dishes on their menus and promote themselves in international, domestic and local media outlets.

Restaurants that have already confirmed participation for Restaurant Week 2019 include Amadeo’s BistróAzafrán, Blanca Blue, Eclecticos, El Arrayán, Hacienda San Ángel Gourmet, Le Bistro, La Cappella, Mérida Grill, Mikado, No Way José!, Ocean GrillOso’s Fish Market Restaurant, The Iguana, Trío, Seasons PV, Spice Market (Hotel W Punta de Mita), Venazu (Hotel W Punta de Mita), Vitea Oceanfront Bistro, Tintoque and Pez Limón.

About Restaurant Week

Restaurant Week provides diners in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit with the opportunity to enjoy fixed-price, innovative, three-course menus (with three options each) at some of the most prestigious restaurants in Banderas Bay. The event is inspired by other culinary festivals that take place all over the world and its first edition was held in 2005. From then on, it has positioned itself as one of the tourists’ and foodies’ favorite events.

The 15th edition of Restaurant Week promises to feature the best local restaurants, which will be offering menus divided into three price categories: $289, $399 and $466 MXN per person. Fees don’t include drinks nor tips. The list of participating restaurants and menus will be available on the event’s website by the beginning of May.

“We started to advertise 7 or 8 years ago and certainly it has helped us position our brand. Now that we have improved a lot in quality, processes and finished products, our marketing in the magazine is precisely to strengthen the leadership we have earned through the 13 years in the area. I also think that we also have grown with the advertisement and that it has been done and it has helped us get to where we are now”.

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us”.

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship”.
