Once again, Puerto Vallarta will host the Kukur Tihar, an event that honors and celebrates the unconditional love of pets.

The 5th Kukur Tihar will be held on November 11th, 2023 in Parota Park (next to Hotel Puerto de Luna). This event will start at 3:00pm and will gather dog lovers in a magnificent ceremony that pays tribute to the bond between humans and pets.

This commemoration originated in Nepal and is part of the Tihar or Festival de Luces (Festival of Lights) that they celebrate every fall for five days.

At Kukur Tihar Puerto Vallarta 2023, attendees will be able to enjoy the company, affection, and connection of their pets.

“The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about the importance of animal welfare in our country and around the world. We firmly believe that all living beings deserve respect, especially those that share our lives daily,” said Martha Dau, organizer of Kukur Tihar Puerto Vallarta 2023.
