Puerto Vallarta has a wide variety of places focused in offering nutritious food with special diets for travelers and residents. Holidu, the renowned vacation rental search engine, released the results of a study that identifies our destination as one of the 10 most ‘veggie’ cities in Mexico.

The ranking reveals the cities in the country with the highest proportion of bars and restaurants offering a vegan or vegetarian menu per inhabitant. This list places Puerto Vallarta in the second position.

Some of these restaurants are Salud Super Food, Barra Light, Planeta Vegetariano, Veggitalia, The Green Place and Playa Detox, just to mention a few, which offer a great diversity of menus with a vegetarian diet, gluten-free foods, organic products from the region, as well as other options tailored to each person.

The report mentions that Puerto Vallarta has 20.7 veggie restaurants for every 100,000 inhabitants.

The veggie movement is gaining adherents, as more people today choose to place the natural products at the center of their philosophy of life.

On your next trip to Puerto Vallarta, do not miss the opportunity to visit some of the veggie restaurants that you will find all over this wonderful destination.

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”

"Vallarta Lifestyles is very similar to The Agency, we have a similar client base, [residents and tourists] who seek for information about the topics that are featured in each issue; lifestyle, restaurants, and architecture, among others. And, because the way your magazines are located, we can really capture the clients we want."
