Riviera Nayarit is proud to present the 1º edition of the Raicilla, Mezcal and Craft Beer Festival, taking place this weekend, Friday to Sunday (March 8 – 10) from 3:00pm – 10:00pm at Marina Nuevo Vallarta. More than 40 local brands specializing in these beverages will gather at the venue, making this a perfect opportunity to get to know their flavor and aromas.

Juan Manuel Castiglioni and Naim Ali Modad González, organizers, declared: “For the first time, we’ll have this type of event in Riviera Nayarit. We are proud to count on expositors that are passionate for what they do and promote the greatness of the products made in the region, as well as the local gastronomy”.

Raicilla and Mezcal are both distilled spirits. The first is obtained from the Lechuguilla and Verde agaves, and is produced in the nearby towns of Cabo Corrientes, Mascota, San Sebastián del Oeste and the south of Nayarit; while the latter can be produced from several types of agave.

On the other hand, the craft beer industry in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit has experienced significant growth in recent years, with the rise of several local brands and establishments that offer them. Some of those that will have a presence at the event are Minerva, El Terrible, Los Cuentos, Cerveza Fortuna, San Blas, Autlán, Raicillería Lulú, Alquimista Cocktail Room and the Promoting Counsel of Raicilla.

It is worth noting that 10 % of proceeds will benefit the organization DIF (System for the Development of Family) in the municipality of Banderas Bay (north of Puerto Vallarta). For more information on the event, visit the event’s Facebook page.

“Without doubt, Vallarta Lifestyles is the best positioned Magazine in the region. Its solid presence keeps a strong and always fresh vision about the destination, as well as activities. Besides, I consider it a great intellectual contribution for the well written articles that are in each issue.”

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship.”

“Among other things, Vallarta Lifestyles stands out for its strong presence throughout our destination, from five stars hotels to brand new condominiums, where they finally find the type of clients that we look for. For all of us is very important to be in print media to strengthen our advertising strategy and this magazine is essential to achieve it.”
