Restaurant Week is launching a brand-new monthly newsletter for foodies in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit to support participating restaurants.

Thanks to the Restaurant Week Foodie Report, a new email newsletter produced by the event organizers, Restaurant Week participating restaurants will receive additional promotion of their latest news and special offers for an entire year. The newsletter was announced by Paco Ojeda, one of the event organizers, during a Restaurant Week press conference that took place on May 3 at Mark’s Bar and Grill restaurant in Bucerias, Riviera Nayarit.

“The fact that Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit are among the finest dining destinations in all of Mexico is very well known,” commented Ojeda. “For twelve years Restaurant Week has invited visitors and locals to explore participating restaurants’ special menus during the second half of May. With the new Foodie Report, we hope to extend that invitation by gathering and distributing news about all participating restaurants—ongoing promotions, special events, menu changes and chef profiles—for twelve months, until the following event.”

The Restaurant Week Foodie Report newsletter will be distributed once a month via email, in English and Spanish. Subscription to the newsletter is free for all. The first edition of the newsletter will be published on June 1, right after Restaurant Week is over, and subsequently at the beginning of each month. “Many restaurants continue offering their special Restaurant Week menus or introduce new ones right after the official event is done,” added Ojeda. “We want local foodies to know of these and many other special promotions, year-around.”

Folks interested in signing up for the free Restaurant Week Foodie Report can do so by visiting restaurantweekpv.com, where organizers are building a brand-new website devoted exclusively to the event. The new website is expected to be completed by June 1.

IMPORTANT: Folks already subscribed to the Vallarta Lifestyles Weekly Newsletter will not be automatically subscribed to the Restaurant Week Foodie Report. If you are a Weekly Newsletter subscriber, you must update your subscription preferences. Look for a link to do this at the very bottom of any edition of the Weekly Newsletter.

“One of the biggest benefits of advertising our business in Vallarta Lifestyles is the presence of our brand aimed to the audience we are looking for. It is a reliable and professional magazine that has helped us with the marketing of our restaurant several times, through well done photography or articles. We feel that we understand each other.”

“There are lots of reasons why we have advertised in Vallarta Lifestyles for several years. One of them is that they know pretty well their target, because they know who are their readers and they adapt as much as possible the content and material that is offered. For these reasons they have a growing number of readers which is very important for us. Another reason is that many people  —including us— think that the magazine has been as a serious publication since its beginnings. Historically, Vallarta Lifestyles has known how to capture the audience and has done it pretty well."

“Without doubt, Vallarta Lifestyles is the best positioned Magazine in the region. Its solid presence keeps a strong and always fresh vision about the destination, as well as activities. Besides, I consider it a great intellectual contribution for the well written articles that are in each issue.”
