Starting on July 1st, 2021, Spirit Airlines will arrive in Vallarta · Nayarit with daily, direct flights from Los Angeles, as well as Dallas and Houston, with three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.)

Spirit Airlines is an American low-cost airline that operates regular flights to Cancún and Los Cabos. The Puerto Vallarta International Airport is the third destination in Mexico where the airline will have presence.

“Offering our guests convenient flights to beautiful places with spectacular beaches is what Spirit Airlines is all about, which makes Puerto Vallarta the perfect new market to connect to major cities in our network,” said John Kirby, vice president of network planning of Spirit Airlines. “We’re delighted to add the great culture and warmth of Mexico’s Pacific coast to our variety of destinations across Mexico.”

For his part, Raúl Revuelta, CEO of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, shared his enthusiasm that our destination is now part of the airline’s natural expansion. He also highlighted the biosecurity protocols remain in force.

The arrival of Spirit Airlines opens the possibility of a greater flow of visitors to Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, who come from major metropolitan areas in the United States, as well as from other places due to the connections made at those airports.

“Vallarta Lifestyles, from its inception has been a quality reference. In some way, it has managed to consolidate the destination because all our restaurants where there and we communicate as an exchange platform. The benefit, besides advertisement and recommendation, is that this publication is a solid copy of Puerto Vallarta’s evolution. If you pick up an old issue, immediately you’ll recall precious memories.”
