“The Stacked Roasted Beet is one of our guests’ most requested tapas, as it is something light that can be enjoyed at any time. Its combination of ingredients results in exquisite contrasting flavors.” —Francisco Ramos, chef of Barcelona Tapas.

Located just four blocks from the Malecón, Barcelona Tapas offers one of the best views of both the city and Banderas Bay. Its concept, based on Spanish tapas to share, makes a visit to this establishment with family, friends or date an authentic culinary adventure to surprise the senses.

The Stacked Roasted Beet is listed in the cold tapas section of the menu and consists of a beet roasted in the oven (but served cold), accompanied by goat cheese, a yellow bell pepper emulsion and raspberry vinaigrette. It is decorated with toasted pecans, a tangerine cream along with some segments, as well as a touch of pesto. To complement the acid accents of this dish, the chef recommends a citrus white wine to balance the explosion of flavors on the palate. And their classic Sangría is always an excellent option to whet the appetite or accompany the meal. For the more knowledgeable, the restaurant’s wine cellar offers more than 150 labels from different parts of the world.

This is one of the appetizers offered by Barcelona Tapas in its 3-course menu that you can enjoy during the 15th edition of Restaurant Week, one of the most important and representative culinary events of Puerto Vallarta.

Don’t miss this chance to enjoy the Restaurant Week and treat yourself with this delicious dishes that Barcelona Tapas has for you at Matamoros 906, El Centro.

“One of the biggest benefits of advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles is that a lot of readers keep it as a bible. People have arrived to our gallery looking for the pieces that are in the advertisements published 5 or 6 years ago, and that’s really valuable for us. Besides being an excellent magazine where is possible to find the newest in the destination, it is a publication dedicated to the public we want to reach and keep.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles was the first reliable magazine that emerged in our destination. In fact, up to date is the only publication that we have in Puerto Vallarta that you can be proud of, because if you give it to someone, you know that person will enjoy watching the photos and reading the articles in each of its pages. I consider, that it is the only magazine that prevails in Vallarta · Nayarit as an icon of this genre”.

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”
