The Maratón Puerto Vallarta 2022 will be a Charity Run

The Maratón Puerto Vallarta (Puerto Vallarta Marathon) is a great event that positions Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit as an attractive destination for sports enthusiasts. It consists of three athletic events: Marathon (42 km), Half Marathon (21 km) and Recreational Run (5 km); in addition to an expo open to the public.

The third edition of this great event will take place next Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 and both the start and finish line will be in Puerto Mágico. This is the first year in which participants will be able to contribute to change the lives of children with disabilities in our destination by joining as a #PVCharityRunner, as 10 percent of the registration fee will be donated to Pasitos de Luz.

Once registered, the proof of registration must be sent by WhatsApp to (322) 137-1890 or by email to . It is estimated that the Maratón Puerto Vallarta 2022 will have more than 3,000 participants from more than 10 countries and from all the states of our country.

Pasitos de Luz is a fully registered local charity whose mission it is to help kids with disabilities to take their very first steps, say their first words and reach their full potential. They support over 130 kids, all from low-income and/or single mom families.

All children receive a wide variety of free services: nutrition, physiotherapy, psychological care, music, wellness and educational programs, among others.
