The Puerto Vallarta College Challenge 2022 Begins

For seven years, our destination has hosted the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge, a sporting event welcoming different softball programs from the NCCA Division I with the aim of kicking off the season 2022.

On this occasion, this sporting event is taking place from February 10 to 13, 2022 and players from the universities of Rutgers, Arkansas, Memphis, Lamar, Washington and Long Beach State are participating. Matches for this Saturday, February 12, 2022 will be at 10:00am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm, 6:00pm and 8:30pm. Sunday’s match will be at 10:00am.

The Puerto Vallarta College Challenge began in 2015 and has evolved into one of the premier tournaments designed to launch the softball season. It was the first-ever Division I Softball event held outside the United States and has included programs from coast to coast: Auburn, BYU, Nevada, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas. The Mexican Olympic team also played in the tournament in 2020.

The Puerto Vallarta College Challenge 2022 is taking place at the “Nancy Alcaraz” softball field of the “Agustín Flores Contreras” Sports Unit.

All games are livestreamed through FloSoftball.
