Manuel Palos, recognized Mexican sculptor, invites residents and visitors of our destination to participate in two artistic activities to take place during October of 2019.

Scheduled to take place from October 6th to 18th, the first event will be “Sculpture Retreat”, a stone carving workshop, with the collaboration of Martín Distancia, award winning sculptor and stone carver. The two of them will be in charge of guiding the participants, and demonstrate their creativity in the sculpture creation. The date is at Casa Alexandra (Brasil, 1039, 5 de Diciembre), Manuel Palo’s workshop-house.

Besides, on Wednesday October 16th, an Open House will take place from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the same location, an opportunity to learn more about his diverse work.

Manuel Palos is from Zacatecas and is well known for his more than 30 years of professional career in sculpture, restoration and conservation projects, like the restoring of San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts, as well as other national and international projects.
