Vallarta · Nayarit, is one of the Mexican destinations that has stood out in the gastronomic field, because it has culinary diversity offering national and international dishes.

For visitors and residents that are looking for establishments that allow them a closer contact with the culture of Mexico, the staff of Vallarta Lifestyles presents three good options to visit and enjoy tasty food and drinks in a very Mexican way.

María Tomate
Located in the heart of Old Town (Basilio Badillo 180), María Tomate offers new recipes that include some italian touches as well as dishes.

Inside this place it is possible to see some elements that evoque the bay’s natural beauty, such as the green foliage in the ceiling and a big old tree at the end.

Also available is a great variety of cocktails and a Happy Hour, available every day from 1:00pm to 7:00pm.

Los Mariachiles
This place is located in Marina Vallarta (Paseo de la Marina Sur 161, L-18), it features a decoration full of vibrant colors and traditional equipal chairs and tables, as well as shredded paper ornaments and piñatas that hang inside the establishment.

The menu of this restaurant includes the most emblematic dishes of the Mexican cuisine.

Los Mariachiles also offers an exceptional Happy Hour, every day from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, so visitors and residents can enjoy a delicious and refreshing drink, while they delight themselves with a remarkable view of the marina.

El Arrayán
This restaurant stands out by its interesting way of reinventing the Mexican cuisine through the implementation of ingredients that may appear unconventional in ancestral recipes. As well as its creativity in drink options, because besides offering the traditional cocktails, this place also offers original mixology alternatives.

Due to its location at Downtown (Allende #344), El Arrayán’s decor is very representative of Mexico, its walls, chairs and tablecloths are painted in vibrant colors adding a special touch.

“Since its beginnings and until today, the quality in photography and editorial design of Vallarta Lifestyles is unrivaled, because there’s nothing similar in this region of Mexico. Besides, to the foreign community that visit us, this magazine is essential if they want to know what’s new and what’s going on in our destination.”
Carl Timothy

Timothy Real Estate Group

“We have been clients of Vallarta Lifestyles since 1999, the year in which we arrived to this destination. Back then, it was the only publication where you could really do local marketing. These days, in spite of the arrival of new technologies, we keep advertising, because it is a really important complement for our marketing strategy.”
