Located on the banks of the Cuale River, practically across from the Cuale Cultural Center, Casa Andrea is a large, old house that now serves as the new location of Tintoque restaurant.

On September 23rd, 2020, at 6:30pm, Tintoque started a new path in Puerto Vallarta, now in the vibrant Romantic Zone, through an exclusive Reopening Dinner in which only 50 diners had the opportunity to enjoy of an exquisite 10-course menu.

“With joy and emotion we are back in an incredible location that we know will surprise you. To reopen in style, our friends and colleagues, whom we admire and are an example of the unity that exists between us as a Vallartans, will help us cook a delicious tasting menu. I thank all chefs, clients and friends for this incredible start”, shared Joel Ornelas, executive chef of Tintoque.

Thanks to its gastronomic proposal and concept, Tintoque has been recognized as one of the 120 best restaurants in our country by the Guía México Gastronómico 2019-2020.

Based in Puerto Vallarta, but with a professional experience that includes their participation in some of the best restaurants around the world, the lineup of this intercultural culinary event was comprised by Memo Wulff, from Barrio Bistro/La Lulú; Thierry Blouet and Lara Castellón, from Café des Artistes; Mario Borja, from Cha’; Leopoldo Cortés, from D’Cortés; Mauricio Leal and Josué Jiménez, from ICÚ; Gaetano Fernandez, from La Tosca · Trattoria da Gaetano; Everardo Robles, from Le Kliff; Jorge Cortés, from Pajaritos Restaurant; David Plascencia, from 116 Pulpito; Chanan Kamen, from Tre Piatti; Bernhard Güth, from Trio · Mediterranean Cuisine and Ulf Henriksson, from Vitea Oceanfront Bistro.

Since its opening in 2016, Tintoque has stood out on the bay’s culinary scene for its signature cuisine, which was conceived by renowned chef Joel Ornelas, who, after working for some of the most recognized and important restaurant groups in England, Spain and Mexico, arrived in our destination to seduce the palates of residents and visitors who come to the restaurant to enjoy dishes that reinterpret local recipes.

Tintoque is now located on Aquiles Serdán 445, Emiliano Zapata (between Aguacate and Jacarandas streets).

“Vallarta Lifestyles is very helpful for someone who arrives for the first time to the destination, because through its content one can discover really nice places to visit. Besides, it is a guide for us as residents, because we know from a good source the new things we can do. People take the magazine and in one place they find hotels, restaurants, galleries, real estate and other featured services.”

“One of the biggest benefits of advertising our business in Vallarta Lifestyles is the presence of our brand aimed to the audience we are looking for. It is a reliable and professional magazine that has helped us with the marketing of our restaurant several times, through well done photography or articles. We feel that we understand each other.”

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship.”
