The Puerto Vallarta Institute of Culture announced the third edition of the Damajuana Raicilla Festival, to take place this weekend (March 15 – 17) at the esplanade of the Cuale Cultural Center and other secondary venues. The event aims to promote this alcoholic beverage produced in the region and obtained from the agaves verde and lechuguilla.

In recent years, the popularity of raicilla has increased considerably among visitors to Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit. The festival is, therefore, a good opportunity to get to know its flavor, the culture revolving around this beverage and some of the local producers.

The activities of the event include lectures, talks, music and theater (in Spanish). For more information about the Damajuana Raicilla Festival, visit its official Facebook page.

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”

“We have been clients of Vallarta Lifestyles since 1999, the year in which we arrived to this destination. Back then, it was the only publication where you could really do local marketing. These days, in spite of the arrival of new technologies, we keep advertising, because it is a really important complement for our marketing strategy.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles, from its inception has been a quality reference. In some way, it has managed to consolidate the destination because all our restaurants where there and we communicate as an exchange platform. The benefit, besides advertisement and recommendation, is that this publication is a solid copy of Puerto Vallarta’s evolution. If you pick up an old issue, immediately you’ll recall precious memories.”
