We were so thrilled to learn that the Saturday Market Co-Op on Púlpito St., Emiliano Zapata, is now open year-around, we caught up with its founder, Sid Goodman, to learn more about this market’s offerings. Two specific things make the Saturday Market Co-Op unique: it is located in a roofed location, making summer weather much more pleasant—for vendors and shoppers—than other farmers markets in the region. Also, the Saturday Market Co-Op blends fresh, organic products with unique handcrafted items produced by local vendors, which adds an extra layer of fun to the shopping experience.

The Saturday Market Co-Op is located within the Paradise Community Center at Púlpito 127 (between Amapas and Olas Altas Sts.) in Colonia Emiliano Zapata. Learn more about the Saturday Market Co-Op by visiting its website. Watch this brief, two-minute video and discover some of the items you can find at the market!

“We started to advertise 7 or 8 years ago and certainly it has helped us position our brand. Now that we have improved a lot in quality, processes and finished products, our marketing in the magazine is precisely to strengthen the leadership we have earned through the 13 years in the area. I also think that we also have grown with the advertisement and that it has been done and it has helped us get to where we are now.”

“Among other things, Vallarta Lifestyles stands out for its strong presence throughout our destination, from five stars hotels to brand new condominiums, where they finally find the type of clients that we look for. For all of us is very important to be in print media to strengthen our advertising strategy and this magazine is essential to achieve it.”

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship.”
