Build Ramps Not Walls, in collaboration with Puerto Café and Dolor Local (a community of illustrators), featured their first fundraising to create artistic murals for the skateboard park of Unidad Deportiva Agustín Flores Contreras, where the First National DIY Skateboard Festival, will take place from December 6th to 8th 2019.

Puerto Café (Morelos 540, El Centro) held this event that started at 7:00pm and had an active participation of skaters, illustrators, residents and visitors interested in this sport and the arts, who supported this cause with the purchase of food and drinks. The proceedings will be used for acquiring the needed materials to achieve this goal.

Besides promoting this sport, one of the main purpose of this collective is to beautify the public areas through diverse artworks made by talented illustrators, like:

· David Rocha, muralist and illustrator from Guadalajara.
· Gibrán Turón, member of Dolor Local.
· José Fabián Estrada, better known as Maldito Perrito, illustrator of older versions of SEP’s books.
· Niño Feo, internationally known by his stickers.

New works on the skate park are scheduled to begin on  November 30th and will be completed by December 5th, 2019.

“Among other things, Vallarta Lifestyles stands out for its strong presence throughout our destination, from five stars hotels to brand new condominiums, where they finally find the type of clients that we look for. For all of us is very important to be in print media to strengthen our advertising strategy and this magazine is essential to achieve it.”

“Advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles is an easy and direct way to reach all of the visitors and new residents that arrive to the destination. Of the 30 years that the magazine has been in circulation, we have been advertising for 23 years and without any doubt, it has been worthy for the big positioning that we have achieved. Besides, the quality of contents its unique in this area.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles, from its inception has been a quality reference. In some way, it has managed to consolidate the destination because all our restaurants where there and we communicate as an exchange platform. The benefit, besides advertisement and recommendation, is that this publication is a solid copy of Puerto Vallarta’s evolution. If you pick up an old issue, immediately you’ll recall precious memories.”
