The gastronomic scene of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit is preparing for one of its most anticipated moments of the year: the 22nd edition of Restaurant Week. Since 2005, this culinary festival has consolidated its place as an essential platform to discover, rediscover, and celebrate the best of regional cuisine. As in the previous year, 51 restaurants will take part in this awaited celebration, reaffirming the dynamism and culinary diversity of Banderas Bay.

The official announcement took place at Mesón Ibérico restaurant in Marina Vallarta. The venue hosted the press conference led by Juan Pablo Hernández and Jorge Chávez—operations director and executive director of Restaurant Week, respectively—along with Pedro Segade, general manager of the host restaurant, and Michelle Fridman, secretary of Tourism for the State of Jalisco.

“In 2026, we mark 22 years of hosting Restaurant Week. This festival aims to bring the finest gastronomy of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit closer to both residents and visitors, who can enjoy special three-course menus, with three options each, at preferential prices,” noted Jorge Chávez, highlighting the event’s accessible essence.

One of the most notable updates for this edition is that menu prices remain at 495, 575, and 690 pesos. These rates do not include drinks or tips, but they represent a unique opportunity to explore high-level culinary offerings throughout various corners of the destination.

Juan Pablo Hernández emphasized the festival’s strength and growth over the years: “Restaurant Week is a project deeply rooted in Vallarta · Nayarit. Year after year, we see more restaurants seeking to join this initiative, which speaks to its relevance and the enthusiasm it generates within the industry and among diners.”

The 2026 edition of Restaurant Week will take place from May 15th to June 10th, with the support of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board, as well as the Riviera Nayarit Tourism and Development Board—entities that continue to drive the destination’s profile through its gastronomic richness.

“Gastronomy is one of the strongest pillars of tourism promotion in Jalisco. In Puerto Vallarta, this richness manifests in an offering that fuses tradition and the avant-garde, becoming a driver of attraction for travelers from around the world. Events like Restaurant Week are fundamental, as they not only celebrate our culinary talent and local products but also democratize fine dining, strengthening the regional economy and consolidating the destination as an indisputable gastronomic leader,” commented Michelle Fridman.

For Mesón Ibérico, this edition also marks a special moment as it joins the festival for the first time. “For us, it is very important to be part of Restaurant Week. It is an ideal platform to introduce our concept, connect with new diners, and share our culinary vision. We are very excited to be part of this great culinary celebration,” said Pedro Segade.
